In 1924, René Lalique, the founder of the famed French crystal company, and Peugeot came together, combining their outstanding expertise to create an exceptional piece. This alliance brought forth a pepper mill made entirely of crystal, named Feuilles (French for leaves). Nearly a century later, Maison Lalique and Peugeot decided to reissue this genuine Art Deco piece, with its exquisite clarity and light effects. In order to reproduce all the leaf motifs of the original piece, modern techniques are brought together with the traditional expertise and manual skills of fifteen artisans. An amazing feat of technology, the Peugeot pepper grinding mechanism in steel is integrated and attached to the centre of the crystal glass. This exceptional pepper mill is an homage to French refinement and expertise. For all those who adore Art Deco style and precious objects.
