Ingredients

4 slices of rustic bread
4 slices of Parma ham or proscuitto ham
6 slices of goat cheese
2 figs
Honey
4 tsp of olive oil
4 tsp balsamic vinegar
Salt and freshly ground pepper
Herbs de Provence
Pine nuts
Basil leaves

Instructions

1 / Preheat the oven to 160 ° C – 320 ° F
2 / Cut the goat cheese and figs into quarters
3 / Drizzle olive oil and 1 tsp of balsamic vinegar on each slice of bread
4 / Arrange slices of goat cheese, ham and figs on the bread slices
5 / Drizzle honey and sprinkle with herbs de Provence and pine nuts. Add salt and freshly ground pepper.
6 / Bake for 5 minutes or until the goat cheese is melted
7 / Out of the oven, top with a few basil leaves and enjoy it warm with a glass of your favorite whiskey!
